Started off the month with finishing up the site inspections we started in August. Once these were complete, ordered all the parts we need, made travel and staffing plans, and mobilized to the first two sites to start the installation work.
This project started in late 2022. Took the client some time to digest the findings from our audits and to plan what they wanted to do. So here we start, a year later, in western Pennsylvania at the two largest sites. Each needed 17 indoor and 3 outdoor access points installed, some wiring, rack work, fixing bad grounds, and cleaning up the network in general. Brought in some extra help from our great friend and subcontractor, Jeff Cramer. Jeff is a tower climber and network technician. Have worked with him for several years with one of the WISPs we used to manage.
Client had to reschedule the transition dates due to scheduling conflicts so we finished all the work we could the first week, then planned to come back in two weeks. Used this time to keep ordering parts for the rest of the sites and get those scheduled and planned.
