Alex entered the information technology sector in 1989, only five years after his initial work on a computer. Initially, he held positions in sales and support. Subsequently, he transitioned into engineering, consulting, and training roles. Since the early 2010s, Alex’s primary focus has been on wireless engineering, network design, and project management.
In addition to his technical expertise, Alex has over two decades of experience in emergency services as an emergency management coordinator, firefighter, and EMT. During this tenure, he has also served as an instructor for CPR, EMS continuing education, advanced trauma scene management, and conducted numerous programs on street drugs and other pertinent issues for EMTs, paramedics, nurses, doctors, police officers, firefighters, and laypersons. Alex has presented at numerous national and regional conferences.
Alex is available to conduct webinars or in-person presentations on a diverse range of topics. These presentations are ideal for lunch-and-learns, company meetings, and gatherings of Lions, Rotary, senior centers, parents’ groups, church congregations, community groups, and teachers during in-service days. Topics encompass wireless technology, the wireless outlook, tech strategy, street drug awareness, basic medical issues such as hands-only CPR, bleeding control, stroke, heart attack, diabetes, falls, aging, safety considerations for tower sites, work sites, and households, and many others. Alex ensures that his presentations are engaging and entertaining, adapting his content to suit sessions ranging from 15 minutes to an all-day event.
